HRD classes to help with your job search (Human Resources Development)

Are you looking for a job?  Do you want to improve your job-search and professional skills?  The Human Resources Department of Wake Tech offers classes in both of these areas.

The classes are FREE if you are unemployed or make less than a certain amount of money. Some classes are just one day long. Other classes meet several times. There is even a workshop on how to save money if you are on unemployment! Click on the link below to see the full list of courses. Click on the course name to read the description and see the meeting time and place:

HRD even offers individual appointments where you can talk with someone from their department one-on-one about the classes you want to take, your career plans, goals, or other questions. They offer appointments at these times:

3rd Friday of every month: 30-minute sessions from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.

2nd and 4th Fridays of every month: 30-minute sessions from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon

You can schedule an appointment by emailing hrdstudent@waketech.edu, or by calling 919-532-5696. If you have questions about this, talk to your teacher or submit a comment to this post. HRD is an excellent resource through Wake Tech, and it could help you get back to work if you are looking!
