Effective January 2, 2013, valid Wake Tech ID’s will be required to enter the Main Campus Library. The Wake Tech College Student Handbook already states that the “college ID must be carried by the student at all times.” ID’s are to be presented as a student enters the library itself. The Library participates in the validation of student ID’s and will assist those students who have not yet received a new decal to be placed on the front of the student ID.

In carrying out its mission to provide a place of study for students, the library will once again become a Quiet Area in all zones. The Group Zone will be limited to no more than 4 seats/people per table. Students whose voices rise above a reasonable level will be asked to go over to the cafeteria area where louder voices may be permitted. The Quiet Zone will allow one-to-two people to work together quietly, while the Silent Zone will remain absolutely quiet.

Our comprehensive methodology includes all four key-language components (vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar and culture) and integrates strategically placed memory building and critical-thinking exercises to help users remember and adapt what they learn.

Want to learn a language, while you’re on the go? Try the language learning app from Mango on your iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad.

Just download the FREE app from the iTunes App Store (http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/mango-languages-library-edition/id443516516?mt=8) and launch it on your mobile device.

You’ll have access to all the same courses as you do through the library’s web site and the lessons themselves work just like the online Mango lessons. Just touch the screen to reveal answers, see literal and understood meanings, hear pronunciations and keep learning!
