What is the Professional Development Center (PDC)?

The VLC Professional Development Center is one of three centers that support the NCCCS Virtual Learning Community (VLC). Each year, the PDC provides training and support to faculty across the NCCCS through learning objects in the NCLOR and training sessions at conferences and webinars.

During the 2011-2012 academic year, the PDC plans to develop training materials and sessions on a range of topics. There are many opportunities available for faculty across the state to get involved.  The list of topics for this year contains ideas for learning objects and webinars. Faculty that develop or deliver training through the PDC will receive a stipend. Stipends vary by project.
