One of the other neat things about SkyDrive is it lets
you share with people outside of your school network as well. So let’s say

have my grandfather, who was in world war II, take a look at the stuff that I’m doing with this project, and get his
feedback and opinion.

Windows Live Skydrive screen – clicks class project,
clicks folder options, clicks change permissions

I can choose to put in his email address down here. And
Let’s say it’s grandpajoe@hotmail.com,

and he’ll actually get a notification. He’ll
authenticate himself using the email address I have,

and be able to share the exact same workspace that I
use with my fellow students. One of the other

cool features that we’ve recently added to the SkyDrive
service is for any public folder you can actually subscribe to an RSS feed
on it so every folder has an RSS feed generated so you can be notified of
new updates, new files, new photos added to that folder in your favorite
reader. So you don’t necessarily even have to go back to the site to get
updates.
